"Older hotel so carpet was old and worn. Comfortable stained. Management was very considerate and accommodating. It appears there is some remodeling in process so I assume these conditions will be improved soon. Expedia quoted us $60 more then the hotel actually charged us. Pleasantly surprised. "

"We had a lovely long weekend. The kids enjoyed the swing, the big beach, and they thought the bunk beds were fun. The property was fully stocked with anything you’d want, clean, comfortable, and good water pressure. It was a bit rainy for our trip so we spent a couple days at the mall of America. "My friends and I made the short drive up from the Cities for a weekend away and could not have been more pleased with our stay at Zach and Betsy’s home. The house itself was clean and spacious—everyone (two couples, two singles) had their own space if they needed a minute to themselves. The details—from ample linens and phone chargers in every room to the coffee maker and French press to the board games—were immaculate. I fully recommend The Gables for a getaway!"

"I stayed for an extended period of time. The owner and his sons live on the property, but you won’t see them very much. The property is SO peaceful, quiet, and safe. They’ve been working to improve it and so there’s some renovations and things here and there, but nothing that would make you uncomfortable or disturb you.
