“We had 9 people staying at the house 6 adults and 3 kids. The house was stocked with clean towels and sheets. Everyone slept comfortably. It was fine for the weekend.”

“The location was in a perfect spot and it was easy to get in and out of the neighborhood to go to all the places that we wanted to visit. The beds, pillows, and couches were very comfortable. We only had one significant complaint - it was unbearably hot upstairs. We couldn't get the thermostat downstairs under 80 degrees, and upstairs felt even hotter. I see comments from other reviews that we should understand "historic home" to mean that the temperature cannot really be controlled, which is……

“Let me just say this rental was way more than we could have expected. There were 9 in our party and we had plenty of room. The kids and young adults loved the downstairs and spent most of their time there. The two bathrooms were adequately stocked with towels and toiletries for us. The host reached out several times during our short two-day stay to make sure we had settled in and to make sure we didn't need anything!! The location was perfect not too far from anything. Quiet neighborhood!!!”

“My wife and I spent a few days in the area to take in some Reds games and see some other attractions in the area and this place was perfect for that! About 25 minute walk to GABP and only 10 minute walk to several great restaurants. Would definitely recommend!!”

“the area was perfect, no noise, quiet neighborhood, you don't even know that you have neighbors, I stayed for the weekend with my wife, we went to the riverboat ride, and also the Cincinnati zoo , It was close to both, Restaurants all around, The Host Jeanne has a book detailing everything, The house itself, has hardwood floors and woodworking throughout the house, her flowerbed, is relaxing. It has a covered front porch, and a back deck, Actually, I think we underpaid her for the property,……

“The primary property was very enjoyable & clean. The outside area was not so clean and it is only accessible via an outdoor walk-way/steps between the buildings. Fantastic location and the view from the sun room was tremendous!”

“I came into town to watch my son's team beat up the Bearcats!! Boomer Sooner! My sisters came in from Cleveland (Go Browns) and Chicago and we had a great family weekend!! Spent a lot of time on the porch. Walked to the Zoo. Short drive to UofC. House was perfect for our group and Kris was VERY quick to respond to us. Highly recommend Findlay Market!”

“The house was roomy and in a convenient location for our stay. Close to the highway and easy access to the local towns. Only complaint was there were minimal towels available and 1/2 bath had paper towel dispenser instead of towel bar for a hand towel, which was not the best to dry my face after nighttime washing. The thermostat automatically changed back to 63 every night, so had to keep an eye on that as it was quite chilly when we were there.”

“Would love to give a 5 star but have to be honest in my review. The property at the time of my visit had a huge ant problem in both the bathroom and kitchen. I pointed this out directly on the “owners” feedback page but no response or acknowledgment. Other than that it’s a great convenient location. As per other reviews the walls are thin here so no matter how quiet people try to be upstairs you will hear everything. Just hope you and the other occupants are on the same schedule. ”

“No issues with the property at all. The area it’s in appears to be undergoing a renewal of sorts. Looks like it will be nicer in the future or at least the potential is there. ”
