“We had thirteen friends for a week here. The property sits up on the side of the mountain in the canopy of the jungle w/wonderful species of tropical plants, birds, monkeys, and a great view of the Pacific Ocean. Patricia is an amazing planner she helped us with all our excursions (ATV tour, ZipLine), a massage day & transportation, our driver Edgar was great, very accommodating and informative. “This house is truly incredible. The first morning I woke up to the sweeping view and sounds of the jungle I couldn’t stop smiling. Pay attention to the requirement for a 4 wheel drive car. The drive into the neighborhood is no joke. If my husband didn’t have off road experience I would not have done it. The room set up worked great for us (2 adults, kids 16, 14 & 8) but if I had younger kids the separate rooms would have felt too far from the primary suite. We spent hours in the pool,……

We watched toucans and other birds in the trees and iguanas, Jesus lizards and geckos run around the grounds. A/C in the bedrooms was lovely. The living room and kitchen could be a bit stuffy in the middle of the day, but we were out by the pool during those hours anyway!”

“The rooms a very unique and they property is beautiful. We had tiny bats roosting on our villa and it was fabulous to watch them swoop and dive over the river in the evening. The owner & staff were lovely although my lack of Spanish made communication difficult. There was few maintenance issues, and the room it’s self could do with a little love.”

“This is a beautiful, private property with a million dollar view! It was very clean! Everything you need is in the house (dishes, cookware, laundry, iron, hair dryer, detergents, garbage bags, towels, etc.). We loved the outdoor patio and pool! The wildlife is great. Tucan birds came by in the early morning and evening at sunset. There were other small mammals that visited the yard during our stay as well. The beautiful pool and yard made us feel like we were at our own personal Resort. We had so much fun enjoying all the indoor and outdoor amenities. The owners are extremely responsive (Thanks so much Brenda!) & the property manager, Trina (& her assistant Jorge) are always most helpful! The accommodations were simply excellent. It is obvious that Brenda & Alf also stay and use the villa as there was not much missing relative to the amenities (this makes a difference versus places that are solely for rental use). Shuttles and regular cars were unable to drive up the driveway so we had to walk luggage up from the base. The house itself is immaculate, and the overall property is exceptionally well-maintained. Oscar, the concierge, was extremely helpful, arranging transportation, offering suggestions for dining and sightseeing, and went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. In our opinion, the pictures were a bit misleading and it was overpriced for what we got. Our first night there we lost all power for about 10 hours and had no ac, water or internet.
