“The building does need some updating, but overall my stay was comfortable. My job required me to work in my room during the day and there was ongoing maintenance in the rooms on either side of me, so the noise was a minimal inconvenience. The staff was attentive and very polite. The breakfast was decent - the waffles were great but could use additional toppings like fruit.”

“This property is beautiful! The view is spectacular of the creek. You get you own private balcony plus access to the great big balcony that is shared with the cabin next door. Underneath the cabin is a big patio for lounging. It is right on the creek. The cabin was very clean. Well decorated. Owner is very quick with responses. We had an amazing time. Kayaked, fished, swam, explored, and just hung out!! Me, my husband, 15 yr old, 12 yr old, and 7 yr old.”

“Absolutely love the location the room was clean with the air cranked up which was great. I didn’t realize that there was not a kitchen but made it work. Kids loved it will be back for sure”

“Watched the barges go by, enjoyed the view across the water, in a quiet rv neighborhood. Owner was quick to respond when we arrived during a storm that caused power outage. Sent us information about issues and checked back with us later to make sure everything was better. If we're ever in this area again, we have no problem coming back to this site.”

“4 of us went and stayed and absolutely enjoyed it. Great place to stay and enjoy the Family oriented camping, kayaking, canoeing just a wonderful place. Mr Doug and the staff went above and beyond for us and they were a treasure. We will definitely be going back.”

“Fun time with the family! The stay was great. Everyone was so friendly, from the owner to the people at the kayak stand. I would recommend leaving a extra blanket for guests needing to use the couch. Also a chicken hung around downstairs and he was completely fine, but he left droppings in multiple places on the porch area downstairs. It was great family fun though! Thanks for having us!”

“Loved the idea of being on the river in a covered space with full hook-ups. It is worth the money. The only downsides are the roads to get to this location and being 45 mins from a major town.”
