“I chose this location because it was right on the water, and pet friendly, prerequisites for our vacation choice. The house is beautiful inside; clean, roomy, and perfect for our family size and gathering. We were celebrating my 70th birthday, and it could not have been a more memorable experience. I highly recommend this home and will definitely return in the future. Thank you.”

“We booked 2 nights to view the eclipse lakeside and it did not disappoint! The photos online, although quite beautiful, do not fully capture the beauty of this place. Gorgeous views overlooking the Vermont mountain range and lake Placid. The house is well appointed with everything you need, small exception of the coffee maker. Our guests did feel comfortable with the cleanliness. Suggest maybe an upgrade to a Kureig. Other than that the property is a 10 out of 10. There are two access points to……

“This was a very convenient location to have beautiful lake views and a quick drive to Burlington. Only complaint is conflicting info about whether or not pets were welcome. Online listing said no but when we arrived a sign said pets were welcome so that was frustrating as we had to arrange care for our pets while we were away. Since we spent a good deal of our time at the home we would’ve really appreciated being able to bring our dog.”

“The only thing that wasn't awesome was the parking. I really didn't like opening my door on the street side of the car with the cars flying by so close.”

“Those property is instant relaxing and comfort. Even nyvkids were so comfort that they didn't want to leave for dinner, asked us to bring food back. Words don't do the view justice... There are no words. The view is good fort the heart... It is so calming. I love that the dining room table looks out onto the beautiful calming serene lake. Curling up by there for place was also great. We loved three house so much we didn't even turn the tv on. Also there was a great book on the tablet with……

“My son and I stayed for two nights to watch the eclipse. The property was in excellent condition. Very clean with an excellent kitchen. The conservatory off the main bedroom was a highlight The beds were very comfortable While we had no children there is a great range of outdoor options for them. Would recommend this property”

“I had a great experience at this property! It was the perfect place to watch the eclipse, and made a a great home base. I was pleasantly surprised at how well stocked the kitchen was, as far as dining ware and cookware goes. We needed to call Albert to turn up the heat, but he arrived promptly and was very pleasant to interact with. We loved the decor of the place, and would love to return if we find ourselves in the neighborhood again.”

“The place is private, peaceful, clean and well maintained. Dave, the owner, even warned us of an approaching storm and advised us on how to protect screen porch furniture upholstery from getting wet, so communication was excellent, too. ”

“Comfortable, climate control worked well. Bathroom was clean. Floor was cold, but that doesn't bother me. Within walking distance of some good eats. not recommended if you're sensitive to loud sounds as its close to the airport and lots of vehicle traffic might keep someone up all night but I'm deaf in one ear so no worries for me.”

“The property manager did a good job taking care of a plumbing issue that interrupted our enjoyment of the stay. Unfortunately, a plumber had to work about 2 hours Sun. night til 10:30 PM, and called in a plumber with a bigger auger who worked the next morning to unclog the basement pipe. This was an issue that obviously had been there awhile! After he left, the tub/shower drained very slowly as well. After mentioning the plumbing work to the property manager, the company agreed to refund some……

“We rented this house for a short visit for the 2024 solar eclipse. Had a great view of the sun over Lake Champlain! The house was perfect for my wife and me with our 20 month old toddler - just needed a baby gate to keep her from dashing up to the loft.”

“Good example of a typical Hampton Inn. Just by fate the elevator wouldn’t go to the 5th floor - mine - thankfully it was a short walk up the stairs and I didn’t have too much luggage. Breakfast the next morning was limited - and the cold drink dispenser was on the fritz. But if you’re familiar with this chain this property will suffice. ”

“This hotel does not have the best reviews online. Nevertheless, our stay was a pleasant one. We visited for the eclipse, so the property was fully booked. They had extra staff and made an effort by handing out goodie bags including eclipse glasses. The room was clean and the staff was helpful. Hopefully, this is a sign that the hotel is turning a corner. ”
