“Owner was accommodating. Place was clean and nice for the price. The entrance was a little off putting but once you get past that, it was good to go. There is a bar downstairs that plays music into the night and morning but we slept through it. The A/C is very smart so we struggled to keep the temperature comfortable through the night. There was a learning curve. I point these things out to give you a heads up but not to take away from the fact that we had a great stay. Good job Scott! We would……

“My husband, daughter and I were heading to Sylvan Beach for a surprise birthday party for his grandma and needed a place to stay. This place was perfect. We had a five month old, the place was super clean. It was shockingly warm so we were able to walk to the Pancake House for breakfast and the beach to look at the lake. The hosts was very nice and property manager. If we need to come back for a family visit we will stay there or talk everyone into renting the bigger property.”

“We came for a long weekend to watch the solar eclipse. Dave's place is exactly as shown in the photographs - a very nice apartment, very clean and updated, and the beds were super comfortable. “All online pictures were a lie, completely edited. Pulled up into a not so nice neighborhood, which was not safe what so ever. Especially if a family with kids show up. Drug deals, cops, gun fires. Complete filth, roach in the tub. Stayed 15 minutes, packed up the car and left. Would expect a free refund, but they scammed the system. So thank you VRBO for allowing people to be screwed over like this. Will never recommend your website or this property to ANYONE, EVER. 0/10 would never recommend,……

“We rented Cottage #1 for the 2024 solar eclipse and it was perfect! The unit had a beautiful view of the lake from both sleeping areas, was clean and quiet, and had everything we needed for our stay. The cottage was also beautifully decorated with so much attention to detail! During our stay we enjoyed painting some rocks for the property grounds, fishing from the canoe, and just relaxing around the fire.
