“From beginning to end a pleasant stay. Owner was on contact to make sure everything was in order. Fresh cut flowers, plenty of clean white fluffy towels, comfortable bedding and the view through sparkling clear windows. What a wonderful way to spend the mother's day weekend with my daughter and spend some time outdoors exploring little Hudson river towns. 10 thumbs up!!!!”

“This was our first stop on a long journey from VA to ME, traveling with 2 dogs. It was perfect, the dogs were safe with lots of freedom to roam. What a beautiful, peaceful village and sweet little cottage.”

“Beautiful, spacious, historic renovated schoolhouse, well appointed furnishings. Giant great room off the back and out to an expansive green which is NOT fenced enough to let your pet run loose, which they say in write up (our dog loved the great room to play in). A few things: If the weather is inclement, the firewood on the property along the fence will be wet. We arrived in rain and had sun the next two days but wood was wet, and could not locate any bagged firewood in Rhinebeck, so could not……

“Lovely home. Very quiet. Large kitchen. I appreciated the communication from the owners. Pictures give the sense that it is larger than it is. Small deck in the back and some seating in the front of the house. Loved the huge windows in the living room. Very nice stay”

“We were a bit sweltering in the heat, as the AC Units hadn't been installed yet. Rudy was very communicative in terms of getting help, but I was a little surprised that there weren't people readily available to assist should something that affected the stay that much come up. Thankfully the units were installed by the second night. Otherwise, the cottage is a lovely spot and an easy walk from Warren Street.”

“If I could have given it more than 5 stars I would have. Beautiful, quiet area and the place is stunning. The gas fireplace in the dining area was great, has pretty much everything you could need and incredibly stylish (the retro fridge and microwave were very cool). Can’t speak to the pullout but the king in the master might have been the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in and the double shower is awesome. The hosts were friendly and responsive. Went to hike and the number of trails within……

“We were looking for a place to stay when visiting our son who lives in the Catskill area. The cottage was perfect. It was in a great location in town close to breweries, shops, and restaurants. It was beautifully furnished and very spacious. We definitely plan on staying there again when we visit our son.”

“we had a wonderful time! the cottage was very comfortable and really well-appointed. We made the most of the fireplace and our two dogs loved the access to the field and woods nearby. Susanne, the host, gave us great directions and was super friendly and helpful and we really appreciated the scones,chocolate and fresh local eggs left for us. We made the most of the easy access to the Rhinebeck restaurtants and hikes in the area and would love to come back! Thank you”

“This is a beautiful, cozy, and comfortable cottage. The attention to design detail, stained glass windows in the peaks, lantern wall lights, and barn wood beams, makes this a special place. We were there on a cold and rainy weekend and it was a perfect place to just relax. ”

“A very nice stay. Communication with the host was great. We kept bothering her with questions and she responded quickly. The place is really beautiful. We lit a fire each night and played some of the provided games and watched Netflix. It's an easy drive to Great Barrington to get groceries at the Berkshire coop. We also took advantage of our surroundings and hikes on the AT a little each day. Next time we'll use the host's canoe to explore Lake Buel. The only minor complaint I would have is……

“The Catskill Nook is beautiful and cozy with all the ameneties on the inside. And on the outside it's just a short walk away from main street with shops, bars and restaurants. Owners have thought of everything, and communication was effortless and very welcoming.”

“We had a great stay while skiing for 2 days at nearby Catamount ski resort. The kitchen and house were fully stocked with all essentials. Netflix access enabled us to enjoy a family movie after a long day of skiing. Cozy house and quiet area.......nice to wake up to hear birds chirping!!”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Joe and Lisa’s stunning barn. It is rammed full of character and is very well located to explore both the Hudson Valley and the Berkshires, just over the border in MA. Joe left us to enjoy the place in peace but was always on hand to answer any questions. The kids really enjoyed taking a dip in the hot tub and making s’mores over the outdoor fire pit. We will definitely return!”
