“1.酒店正在装修中，环境乱七八糟。 2.楼梯在1楼（ground)的出口封闭，只能从另一侧上下楼，在2层东拐西拐，穿过4道门，带拉杆箱，不太方便。 3.房间里无WiFi，只能在前台上网，但是没有椅子。 4.前台男士态度冰冷。”

“The landlad, Linda was extremely helpful. She booked golf tee time for us at a nearby golf course. soffiicinet free car parks provided. Quite near to the city centre. free wifi od strong signal. A extremely warm and comfortable B&B. A bit expensive in the weekend but I think that is Edinburgh in weekend.”

“We had a lovely stay at Abbey Strand Apartments. The apartment was very clean and was very well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. Although the apartment is quite small it was a perfect size for us as a couple. The only negative was that the information regarding check-in wasn’t very clear as to which doors we had to use. We ended up going round by the side of the building through a gate and we were stopped by a woman in a security uniform. She was very pleasant and helped us but this was……

“Beautiful old building. Great area. Rooms were quite nice and clean. Just no staff were ever present in our three night stay. An elderly couple who couldn’t speak English sat in the front lobby, often. I’m not sure if they worked there cleaning rooms or were a guest but if the worked there they made no attempt to communicate or help out, which was an issue because the front door to the building on a busy street was always left open”

“From the outside, the hotel looks run down and in need of decorating. However, the interior and the room itself seemed freshly painted, so no problem there. Breakfast was good, and our dog was well looked after. ”

“I can see the beautiful scenery of castle in the apartment. But it is quite exhausting for walking up to 4th floor with heavy luggage. Overall, we like this apartment.”

“The room was cozy and comfortable. The staff was very nice and friendly and there was a nice selection of snacks and breakfast items in our room. Dinner in the restaurant was very good and the bar was good too. Our only complaint was that there was no WIFI for our entire stay which made it difficult for planning some activities due to the fact everything is booked online these days. ”
