The service was brilliant with Sebastian and John being so welcoming on arrival at the train station and helpful on departure including assisting me with gifts from the market. I was unexpectedly provided with free champagne and chocolates as a welcome gift. The room was fantastic with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast experience on the terrace with the sound of the waterfalls and a clear view of Machu Picchu was a once in a lifetime experience."

"Such an inviting jungle like retreat! A staff member met us at the train station and walked us to the hotel. The superior suite room was wonderful, especially with the natural hot springs hot tub! "We really enjoyed our stay here. We got a private room with our own bath and it was lovely. The staff was very friendly and the hotel held on to our bags for us while we trekked Machu Picchu. The food in the hotel was delicious, we stayed here before and after our trek and after we just wanted room service, which was served hot, delicious, and fresh. We loved the community feel and the location is really hard to beat. Overall - we would love to stay here again. "
