“We stayed at the the river house to be close to family in the area. It was just right for our needs. Lots of space to spread out and play games. Beds were comfy and the kitchen well stocked for our meal prep.”

“My siblings and I chose this property for our annual siblings weekend. The cabin was clean, welcoming, and provided everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time together. We went into town for dinner, went across the street and hiked the trails at Castle rock state Park, and caught several fish right from the deck of the cabin. Would recommend this cabin to anyone seeking a pleasant place to gather and relax.”

“We very much enjoyed our stay at this property situated beautifully on the banks of the Mighty Mississippi River. The property is well-appointed and comfortable. The deck that extends along the length of the home is a perfect perch for watching the prolific bird and waterfowl life and the barge traffic that regularly passes by. “The property was the perfect place for our family get together during a tough time. Enough room for everyone to hang out together or have their own space too. Can only imagine how much more wonderful in the summer it can be with the pool. The Host was great with communication and information. Just all the special little touches down tothe doilies. The diverse library, the sunroom, the screened in room. The yard was so beautiful with all the hostas and old growth trees. “I was able to check in sarky, which was nice after a long drive. The staff are top notch- everyone was very friendly. Lobby and room were very clean. I like that the parking lot was well lit and they use a fob system to allow entry from the parking lot- it made me feel very safe when I arrived back late from the event I was attending. I will absolutely come back and stay here again. ”
