The house had enough space for us to hang out together playing charades in the great room, ping pong tournaments in the finished attic playroom, and making holiday ornaments at the large dining room table. “Do not stay here! I am an international traveler, backpacker, and am used to some rough accommodations, but this stay was truly awful. My friend and I booked the space for a weekend, despite reading the previous reviews, thinking it could not be that bad. The house was overwhelmingly musty, there was mold up into the windowsills, the carpeting felt damp to walk on, and least of all the beds were hard and uncomfortable. We left after one night. It felt like a health hazard to be there. Neither……

He had some renters prior to us that did not take care of the house and he was in the process of fixing things that were broken. “This home has so much character. The wood trim, old vents and even the bathtub. You walk out the back and the Hudson is right there. Such peace. If i am ever in the area again, i wouldn't hesitate to book it again.”

The location is on a busier street then we originally thought but the overall house is nice and the backyard was nice for our dog to run around and the outdoor seating was nice on to have on the nice days. I did find the kitchen was lacking some supplies, there seemed to be a lot of spoons but no knives and there was only 1 frying pan but overall nice place to stay.”

“They supposedly double booked and only notified or refunded us up on request for check in info at 1030 pm the day of our arrival for my daughter doctorate hooding. It was literally the worst experience we could have had with this host.”
