“My new favorite Austin hotel! Really great boutique hotel just minutes from downtown and a couple of blocks off the lake and Austin greenbelt. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the hotel has a great sense of that famous "Austin Funkiness" while still feeling high quality, with great little details and touches everywhere you look. Having a hip austin coffeeshop on premises and many restaurants and bars within a short walk was also a plus. Can't wait to stay again!”

“This hotel is a landmark and was built in 1886. They offer a free tour of the hotel which I would recommend. It's very well maintained while keeping all it's original charm. Downtown location is perfect - we did not need a car to get around the city. Staff well very helpful, courteous and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel!!!”

“A cool hotel. Decor is certainly edgy. Good entertainment channels. Only problem was the construction site facing our room and it was noisy when work started. ”

“On march I stayed at the Element in Tukwila, WA and had an amazing experience, and that's why I decided to stay here in Austin. Great experience again! Different interior design, same very practical and convenient room layout with small kitchenette. The location is close to everything in downtown and the breakfast equally awesome and considerably better quality than your average hotel breakfast. For sure book the parking ahead of time with your room if given the option since it will save you a……

“Overall, stay was phenomenal, staff was accommodating and friendly. Hotel offerings included a welcome beverage, a free happy hour beverage, free coffee from the cafe in the morning. Option to not have your room cleaned for credit on your stay. As well as a $10 food & Bev credit per day. There is construction in the area but they provide noise cancelling machines and earplugs but we only turned the machine on once so wasn’t bad at all. Really great vibe going on around the hotel with Rainy……
