"Great stay, excellent communication from the team, even though we never actually saw anyone in person they gave excellent instructions for the keys, rooms, and property. Nice and close to train station and old town and the castle. "

"Overall was very pleased with our 2 night stay. The room was a bit too warm for us even although the window was open, so maybe the addition of a fan would be a consideration. Also the very excellent shower could have benefitted from a slightly deeper shower tray. The bathroom floor was a bit flooded and it if it hadn’t been for the shower mat, the consequences could have been worse. Saying that, the room was very clean, extremely well stocked with bathroom accessories , tea/coffee etc sachets,...

"Our second stay here - we love this B&B! David is very friendly and cooks an awesome breakfast. Easy to get to from airport and easy to jump on bus #44 to head into the city. Highly recommended!"

"It served our needs. We got a good nights rest and the beds were very comfortable. Wish there was better parking but we made do. Signage was hard to locate as the sign was in green and writing in gold and hard to see. Maybe sign needed to be bigger or backlit too. We will be staying here again in a week so now we will know where it is! "

"The room was cozy and comfortable. The staff was very nice and friendly and there was a nice selection of snacks and breakfast items in our room. Dinner in the restaurant was very good and the bar was good too. Our only complaint was that there was no WIFI for our entire stay which made it difficult for planning some activities due to the fact everything is booked online these days. "

"It was everything I needed for a 4 day stay in Edinburgh. It’s right on a bus line and the tram is easy to walk to. Everything was clean and the bed was fantastic. I’ll happily stay here again. "

"I like the location. The bus is just next to the house. The responsable gave us some information about the famous attractions in Edinburgh. He has a dog called Tom. He's very friendly. It was the first time i wasn't scared of a dog. I noticed just that the room isn't warm enough. But in general i liked the experience"

"James and Angela were just perfect!!! The cottage was cozy and close to a few Outlander locations which was a big deal to us. Conveniently close to great dining options as well!!! "

"We had a fabulous evening after arriving from our travels. Lorna was very welcoming and excellent as a host. There was a lovely walk at their doorstep (Almondell Country Park) which we thoroughly enjoyed. Lorna was very accommodating to provide us an early breakfast the next morning since we had to leave early and also kindly packed our cooked breakfast. Highly recommend this property. "

"We had an amazing stay from start to finish. Ian gave us a tour if the castle along with a history. The rooms were cozy, the bed was very comfortable. The owners even gave us a ride to the tram when we were unable to find a taxi. Sue and Ian are a friendly helpful couple. "

"Great location on a quiet street right off the Royal Mile. Steps away from St Giles Cathedral and very close to Grassmarket. Easy walk to Waverley station. Would advise using a cab to the hotel if you have large bags as uphill walk can be tough. Much easier to go downhill. Rooms were great and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again."
