The location was the key ingredient with us.
Everything else completely reached our expectations and beyond.

The hotel was in a great location and has a lot of potential. There were some building works going on while we were there - no disturbance from them at all, but it did make the layout a bit confusing.
On arrival, we were checked into a room that had not been cleaned. After reporting the issue, the staff moved us to another (upgraded) room and offered free drinks and breakfast to compensate. The resolution was super speedy. They wanted to give us some money back off the room, which would have been appreciated, but they couldn’t do so because we booked via Expedia. They mentioned a process for following up with Expedia but it was unclear to me how to do this.
I’d stay again, but would probably look for other options first. The hotel was fine, and the staff diligent. Just felt a bit tired and very average for the price point.

Our room was directly below the dining area; starting at 4am or thereabouts we were woken up by sounds of arranging the tables and chairs. Then at 7am when breakfast started it became impossible to sleep. If your room is on the third floor, be forewarned as this seems an intractable problem. Otherwise the lobby was in the process of being renovated, and our friends thought the room seemed reminiscent of a Travelodge. We also had a glass bathroom door that had sagged in its hinges and therefore couldn’t be closed. To be fair I’m sure this could have been fixed by maintenance and we did report it as we left. However, given the costly rate, I would not stay here again. On the positive side, the location was extremely convenient and close to the tram.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Staff were very helpful, friendly and welcoming! Room was clean and comfortable. Walkable to most things.
