"This cabin was a clean,spacious, family friendly located in a quite subdivision. My elderly parent found the single level layout easy navigate. Plenty of outdoor activities close to explore and the lake was prestine. Lots of shopping close. We very much enjoyed the lighting bugs display right after sundown. It was like Christmas trees lit up! Thank you for sharing your lovely pet friendly home with us."

"Everything in the listing was very accurate, from the electric to the water pressure. HIGHLY recommend 4wd or awd. He's not kidding about the road. Once you drive it a couple of times, you get used to it, but there's a learning curve. The views and the quiet were outstanding. Be aware it is in the mountains, and you will see some bugs and maybe a lizard or two (that one was cute). Sunrise from the back porch was gorgeous! My only suggestions would be to make a little more space for visitors'...

"This cabin shows all the signs of being well loved. Everything guests could need has been anticipated, from a tea kettle to toilet paper. Comfortable, cozy, and spotlessly clean describes the place. Our dog even loved the lion statues out front. Last winter was especially hard on our family. We had to cancel once due to health problems, and the owner graciously helped us rearrange our plans. The opportunity to enjoy some quiet time in a charming cabin was just what we needed."

"This was a wonderful place to stay during our vacation. The cabin was very comfortable and we especially enjoyed the outdoor spaces around the cabin. The kitchen was well stocked so cooking was easy. Great, location, too! The cabin is in a quiet, rural setting and it was an easy drive to nearby attractions, as well. "Found this listing looking for something secluded in the mountains, just cozy enough for having all the normal amenities and a hot tub for relaxing. "This was a nice cabin to stay at when visiting grandfather mountain. The cabin was clean and well decorated. The hot tub and all the other amenities worked. It is located in a wooded area but right on a main road."

"Overall, the property is as advertised with a great view and amenities. The rooms and are large and plenty of spaces and TV. Location is great, very close to the Watauga River Park and original Mast General Store with a short 15 min drive to Boone. Communication with the host was quick and consistent. We reported a couple issues that were present upon arrival and the host offered to have them fixed during our stay: 1) screen on the patio door was coming out of its frame 2) and patio fire pit...

"Wonderful home, very well stocked and cleaned. Great water, pressure, hot water. The perfect location on the river we had so much fun playing in the river for 2 1/2 days. Close enough to town if you needed anything from the store. We got Walmart Delivery a couple times which was just as quick as when we’re at home In a bigger city. This was truly one of the best VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. We are truly hoping to come back Every year!"
