“Stackrock is exactly as described and pictured. Beautiful, secluded, quaint, no frills cabin. It was perfect for our little family of 3. The grounds were great for exploring (for pets and kids). Location is convenient to local sites, hiking and Ellijay in general. It has all the amenities of home. All in all, it’s a great place. The owner was very responsive to communications and super friendly and accommodating.”

“Wife needed a couple of nights away from work. This was a perfect get-a-way for us. Very peaceful.”

“This is the second time we’ve stayed here and we love it! Group of adults and we all had plenty of room. Love the river feature and all the outdoor space. Love the big island in the kitchen and the dining table. Love the big couch in the downstairs living room. Bathrooms are spacious and very nice. We love reading, playing games, and just hanging out on our spring break and this is perfect spot!!”

“The house is beautiful and nicely furnished. The master bed was very comfortable. Great location on the Ellijay River. The hot tub worked well and was so relaxing. We enjoyed the patio and fire pit, but the Adirondack chairs need to be replaced because some are broken. For the price and extra cleaning fee, I was disappointed to see so many spider webs inside and outside that appeared to have been there for quite some time. It would have been nice to have a broom and some dish cloths/sponges.……

“This house is great for a family of all adults! Very peaceful and well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed having the hot tub as well! My only 2 complaints were the number of bath towels available, and the table on the screen porch was so dirty with pollen we couldn’t use it - and it was perfect weather to do so). I do understand pollen season in Georgia, but it would’ve been nice to have had it cleaned before we got here. Overall great place and I would stay here again 😊”

“We came to Ellijay for a wedding and we’re delighted that the cabin was as advertised, easy and safe to access (we have rented cabins before that had very slippery and dangerous entrances) the cabin itself was very nice. The bedrooms were very nice, great hot tub. We loved the main room and kitchen.”

“This is a cozy RV in a spot right near lots of restaurants, shops, and nature spots. However, the RV hot tub didn't ever heat up to more than 93 degrees and even that temperature took over 24 hours to be reached, the dishes in the cupboards were dusty and not very clean, and the hot water heater only lasts for about a 2-minute shower before it has to spend hours refilling on hot water for any more to be available. So, for those issues I would say this was too pricey and not an accurate……

“Nice place - kitchen and bath well stocked. Furnace worked very well for a cold weekend! As pictured, but I must say very sparsely decorated. Honestly, a few bedside lamps in the downstairs bedroom would be much appreciated, as would an area rug and bath rug on the cold tile floor. And a few more lamps upstairs. Hard to read in the evening with just the overhead light.”

“The cabin is beautiful and thoughtfully furnished with everything you will need (shampoo, air freshener, flashlights, firewood, etc). We loved the sound of the rushing stream outside and all the visiting animals, including deer. The little nook off of the living room was one of our favorite spaces, as it was comfy and offered lovely views of the meadow and the stream.”
