“Property manager was awesome and very attentive. Was looking for a calm, quiet, peaceful place that was next to the lake. This trip was a gift to myself. Traveling by myself, I felt extremely comfortable and safe. Loved the large porch with table, and the customized welcome sign next to the front door. As soon as I walked in, I lit up with excitement. “We had an awesome time. We ordered pizza from Sweetwater and enjoyed it on the patio overlooking the water …what a view! We also had Joyce come out and teach us a craft which was very fun. Saturday for lunch was chicken from Jeff’s delicious. Over all all 9 of us enjoyed our stay and loved the place.”

“Rustic is the keyword. Uneven floor/foundation makes walking awkward, especially for older folks. But they have a very well stocked kitchen and lots of extras, including coffee pods for the Keurig! Washer and dryer is a great plus. A welcome manual would help with info about TV, hot water, beach parking and WIFI. A little TLC would go a long way to fix this place up but we had a good stay. Property owner is quick to respond.”

Lots of love…that’s what it’s been given. The view of the lake from the foyer with its many windows is lovely as you sit at the beautiful little antique table and take it all in…”

“We greatly enjoyed our time here. As soon as we walked in, it felt like home. The home is very roomy and yet, very comfy. Plenty of sleeping areas, entertainment areas, provided everything needed for a great family getaway. Firepit and being steps away from the lake with breathtaking sunrises was a plus - the memories made, were unforgettable! Host is very responsive. I had several questions as we weren't familiar with the Lexington area and she was very accommodating with lots of suggestions……

“We would have rated this higher had it not been for the undisclosed video surveillance. At least 3 cameras outside-which are allowed if properly disclosed. But most bothersome is the indoor camera in the Lakehouse (just one-as far as we could find). When we contacted the host about the camera concerns we were told that 1) she didn’t feel the need to notify us since she received an alert that we unplugged it-thus we “already knew about it”, 2) the indoor camera was there since there were……

“Nice quiet place just off Lake Huron. Cottage is clean and cozy.”

“This was perfect for our family getaway over Labor Day weekend. We had three different families that stayed (16 total) and plenty of space for all. The pool area was where we spent most of our time. It had everything we needed (fire pit, fridge, chairs, tables, and beautiful pool). A festival was going on during the weekend and it was so much fun to be able to walk a few blocks and enjoy the music, farmers markets and Lake Huron. I would highly recommend staying here with a larger group.”

“I stayed here to visit with family in town so I didn't spend a lot of time in the room. That being said, the room was VERY clean and comfortable. I literally did not want to get out of bed the first morning! My only complaint would be that there wasn't enough towels for a multiple night/person stay. They only clean every few days (which is fine and I could have called the office for more) but please leave enough towels initially. I didn't eat the free breakfast so I can't comment on that. I……
