It's walkable to the shops and restaurants in Glen Arbor, and breakfast was consistently delicious. Great porch for relaxing too, and a convivial place to make new friends while traveling. ”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Cottonwood inn. It’s conveniently located in an area not too far from the beach and local restaurants. The staff was friendly and inviting. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our remote had dead batteries and we contacted our host and they were promptly replaced. The one thing I would note is that we had to take really quick showers because the hot water would run cold fast. I will say, It is an old building and there were other guests there at the time, so that may……

“Nice cozy place right on Lake Michigan. It's a small bare bones studio room with a bathroom/shower, but it suits its purpose and can't be beat for location. It was clean, well cared for and everything functioned perfectly. Property managers were great to work with. Had a small issue getting in the gate initially but they answered the phone immediately after hours and took care of the problem instantly.”

Only regret is that it is located on a busy main street and you can periodically hear the passing cars; otherwise, it's perfect and the hosts could not have been more responsive to our needs.”

The views from the living room and master bedroom were very beautiful, especially since the leaves on the trees hadn't quite come in yet during our early May stay. We also appreciated that there were relatively few steps to climb to the condo from the parking lot compared to the last Homestead condo we stayed in, which had over 80 steps. “This lovely old train depot makes an airy nest snuggled up against Sleeping Bear Bay. Steps from the very quiet and gorgeous beach, and tucked into very pretty woods not far from the Crystal River. I can’t say enough about how carefully and perfectly decorated this home is. It’s got super high ceilings, old tall ornate glass windows and hardwood floors. “My friend and I wanted to get away for the weekend to catch up, so we decided to go with this cabin. It was perfect for what we needed - super cozy, the beds were comfortable and clean. The only complaint I have as far as cleanliness was the amount of dog hair that was on the couch/living area. Otherwise it’s a great location right next to downtown! I would recommend.”

“Property is fine. Management is not. I Sent a question Saturday before my Sunday arrival- that I needed answered BEFORE I got there. Got answer, a stupid wrong answer, on Wednesday. Yep - 4 days to answer a question. Gad a problem with misleading entry instructions. By the time they answered, I'd figured it out. ALL communication is via text - no humans”

“Beautiful views close to everything. The only critique I have is that it was very dusty. Out side of the dust everything was clean. I would just have the cleaners pay more attention to dusting it.”
