“We’ve been to the Cheeka lodge twice. Always a great place to stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The Atlantic Edge restaurant is located on the oceanfront and the food and service are wonderful. We are looking forward to visiting there again soon ”

“Really great resort. Everything renovated or new. Amazing views. Everything clean and room service impeccable. Very attentive to our needs and great communication from front desk. Staff not as friendly as it could be, especially at breakfast. Felt like getting breakfast somewhere else. Also, a lot of empty cans and empty wrappers around the property. Not a big deal but it could be better especially so close to the sea. Obviously people throwing stuff around not great but staff can walk around……

We only ate there one night, because the food was very mediocre. We had no complaints about the food at the tiki bar by the pool. ”

“Room is decent size and comfortable. Right next to an excellent cafe. Our room smelled of the cleaning solution they use to disinfect surfaces. Road noise is loud for rooms on the highway; select a room off the highway if possible, but was light during sleeping hours. Staff friendly - did not wear face masks. ”

“Very relaxing except for the outdoor music playing constantly at the beach area. Same music, songs, beat over and over and over again. The sounds of the birds and water are enough. An exhaust fan in the bathroom would be nice as well as additional paddle boards and kayaks. ”

“Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is small, cereal, muffins and hard boiled eggs. The rooms were a little smaller than I expected but we only slept in them so it worked fine. ”

“I had never been to the island keys. This small resort seemed to represent a little of the magic I had always imagined. It is old, dated, and in some places could use updates such as shower faucets and kitchen supplies. But overall, I found it to be very charming in a rustic island way. It is convenient. The small bungalow I stayed in was nice and comfortable. The window air unit was loud but effective. The breakfast offered was generous and pleasantly presented from 9-11am. The pool was a 10!……

“This is a beautiful, quaint boutique hotel. We stayed in the Jungles room. It was beautiful. We only stayed one night on our way to Key West. Wish we had stayed more. It was so lovely.”
