“This is a nice, lakefront property, exactly as described in the profile. It does require climbing a number of stairs to get both to the main property and then down to the lake. But there’s plenty of space on the main floor, and three comfortable bedrooms on the lower floor.”

We wanted a place that was located in a beautiful setting so that we can relax, but close enough to enjoy the attractions of Lake George and beyond and this location fit the bill. Tom was very gracious and responsive. He made sure everything was perfect for our trip. Would love to come back!”

“My sisters and I stayed here as a base spot to head further up north to view the eclipse. This was an awsome little place! It was clean, not drafty and warm. The owner and staff were easily accessable when we had a question. Really enjoyed this place....it was reminiscent of our long since sold childhood Adirondack cottage! “Directly on the lake, you can walk out onto your own private peninsula, fish (I caught two bass in ten minutes), or just enjoy the lounge chairs or couples swing while gazing at the pristine lake or soaking up the fire we made in the brand new fire pit. We slept with the windows open and listened to the waves lapping against the shore right outside. This place was amazing. It had no reviews when we booked it last-minute, which worried us, but it was just great. We were so happy to be there. It……

“Very cute cozy and comfortable spot! Close to Lane George but also secluded enough to enjoy! We stayed for Columbus day weekend and it was definitely the end of the season. The pool area looked fun and welcoming but was closed already (which is ok it was too cold anyways). We were one of few people on the property and felt like it was very dark and not maintained but with our flashlights we were fine. The cabin was clean comfy and cozy we popped the breaker a few times turning heaters on but……

“My husband, daughter, dog and I stayed at Pete's property for the Adirondack Balloon Festival and had a great time! The whole family, including Belle the dog, were super friendly and welcoming, chatting with us, showing us around the property and even hand delivered a half dozen fresh eggs from their chickens! The property is super fun-landing somewhere between a small farm and nature compound kind of feel. We were only there a couple days and spent the majority of the time out and about because……

“We had a wonderful stay. The property was lovely. It was well kept, clean and organized. It felt peaceful. The only thing I would suggest is to add to the listing that though pets are welcome they aren't allowed to be left unattended in the cabin. This is certainly understandable since some people don't train their pets. However, not being able to do so limited what we could do on a few days. Also listing a puppy day care in the welcome binder as an option for days renters would like to venture……

“We absolutely loved this little cabin! It was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children). We were in Saratoga for a soccer tournament and this was the perfect place to relax in between games and overnight. The hosts were amazing, left us the nicest welcome basket and equipped the cabin with everything we would need (flashlights, wood for the fire, coffee K-cups). We will definitely use this property again if in the area!”
