After making my reservation on Expedia, I called the hotel to confirm my room choices. The first time I called, I was put on hold for 10 minutes and then hung up on. The second time I called, I was abruptly informed that I needed the Hilton confirmation number, not the Expedia itinerary number, and hung up on. The third time I called, I confirmed our room choices. But then we didn’t get the room type we requested when we checked in. After we checked in, we were awoken at 11:30 pm by someone trying to enter our room. The front desk had assigned someone else to our room after assigning it to us. Minutes later, it happened again. Minutes later, the front desk called and asked when we checked in, obviously unaware of our presence in the room. Bottom line: the management was rude and incompetent.
