“House is in a nice location. The pictures were photoshopped on the listing to make the wood appear to be a more modern wood tone than it actually is. Not a huge deal but definitely something I noticed upon arrival. The bath towels provided by the house were bleach stained. No AC in bedrooms. Plant overgrowth on back deck. Ice maker doesnt work in freezer. Minor issues that could be addressed to provide a nicer experience for guests. Overall the house was not bad and we had a nice stay, but not 5……

“This rental home is located on a secluded road overlooking a nice countryside in Richmondville. The house is brand new with a large kitchen connecting the living room and dining with bedrooms on each side. The house is equipped with new appliances, three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms and a laundry room area that came in very useful. “Rustic, authentic Adirondack Lake House with plenty of room for the family. Plenty of outdoor equipment including a great dock to fish off of. Indoors was cozy with plenty of warming options on chilly nights and rainy days. Kitchen was well equipped and very spacious. Multiple dining areas including a very nice sun porch. Besides being clean, newly renovated in terms of furniture and exactly as advertised in terms of features, the place was well stocked with amenities for our party of 8. “We booked this last minute when we realized we wouldn’t have any kids for Memorial Day weekend and am so happy we did. Everything was exactly what we needed it to be. I can imagine the stairs to the loft might be an issue for some people but we didn’t have any problems with it. The terrain of the path to the shared dock was a bit rough especially if you have your hands full but pretty much what one should expect in the Adirondacks.
