“This idyllic home in the Highlands had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Communication with the property owner was a breeze, she was on site to welcome us and explain a few things when we arrived. Great restaurant recommendations to local gems were fantastic. Breakfast at Rain and a birthday dinner at Old Pines were amazing. Immaculate, comfortable and serene lodgings with amazing views of Ben Nevis. Wish we could have stayed longer!”

“We arrived at this cozy lodge after a long day of driving and exploring and were welcomed by the property manager and found the spot to be perfect for our needs. Since we arrived in the dark, we awoke to the most stunning views. Rains had left the top Ben Nevis and surrounding mountains dusted with snow. It was breathtaking. We thought we’d be off and exploring all the hiking the area has to offer (and hiking is available right out the front door) but we ended up staying close and relaxing in……

“This glamping pod is high spec, very well designed for efficiency and comfort. It would be perfect any time of year as it has underfloor heating, a good shower and feels cosy and relaxing. The area is so beautiful in every direction. It was great to escape from the city and be surrounded by nature.”

“The property location was perfect and beautiful. The lodge (Staffa) looks to be very clean and very modernly designed. It had everything we needed for the tree days journey. However, appliances in UK/Scotland are not the same as in the USA. Without instructions, we were able to figure it out after a couple of trial and error. Other than that, it was a wonderful property.”

“Sehr schönes, sauberes, gepflegtes, liebevoll eingerichtetes Häuschen. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt, es gab Tee, Kaffee, Zucker und Milch sowie Kekse. Sehr gemütlich, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Ca. 20 Gehminuten bis ins Zentrum von Fort William. Auch der Ben Nevis-Aufstieg ist zu Fuß erreichbar.”

“Stunning location for a relaxing holiday. Spent a week here with 2 children (ages 6 and 2) and had a great time. Safe outdoor space for the children to play in and they loved feeding the owner's chickens nearby. 5 minute walk to a pebbled beach which was ideal for tiring them out in the evening. Lots to do locally and further afield in Oban. The cabin is clean, with everything you would need for a weeks stay.”

“So we rented a pod. It looks lovely in the photos, but let me tell you what you really get. Firstly, I know it's only a pod, we weren't expecting the world. However, it has no cooker, no hob, no microwave, no toaster, and No Fridge ! A kettle a couple of cups a pair of knives and forks, but, no plates, no bowls ! Frankly it's pathetic. The floor by the bed squeaks terribly. Now let's talk about the bed. It's a mattress covered in plastic. Now I'm not as young as I was, but I don't need an……

“Die Lodge befindet sich etwas abseits einer Hauptstrasse im Wald und es ist sehr ruhig. Ein Auto ist von Vorteil. In der Unterkunft ist alles nötige vorhanden. Die Einrichtung ist sehr schön. Ein richtig gemütliches Holzhaus. Gerne wieder. Vielen Dank.”

“Lovely little base for a West Highland getaway. Isolated and quiet with comfort and peace. Only thing you have to put up with is the midges, but not much can be done about those evil little things! ”

“Tolle Lage bei Fort William direkt an der Glenfinnan Eisenbahnstrecke. Man kann den Harry-Potter-Zug zweimal am Tag vorbeifahren sehen. Liebenswürdige Hauswirtin. Einfache Ferienwohnung.”
