“My husband and I go to Fredericksburg fairly regularly, yet somehow had not stayed here yet. We absolutely loved it! Our cottage was at the back of the property, behind which was a nice grassy area in front of a stand of trees. There were multiple fire pits with chairs. We did not make use of those, but it was a lovely space and made us feel more relaxed just knowing there was a “backyard” if we wanted to sit out on our little porch or use a fire pit. We went during the week, which meant……

“We loved staying at the Tree House for our long weekend getaway. The house was beautifully decorated and sparkling clean and had all we needed. We enjoyed the outdoor space as well. Highly recommend this place.”

“Cute barn, but was 10 feet off the Highway & was a big noisy. Owners were working on property 10 yards from the glass front door so privacy wasn’t great. no ice/ ice cube trays or bottled water. Interior walls are very thin so the sound really carries ”

“We enjoyed this unique stay. The container is slightly not leveled; however, it did not take away from the experience we enjoyed. The view of the stars was beautiful and we were thrilled to see several deer nearby. The location is minutes away from Kerrville where you can enjoy a picnic in the park, listen to a band at Pier 27 or enjoy a meal at Black Jack. Worth the stay. We will definitely book again.”

“WONDERFUL rustic cabin in a rural area of Texas Hill country. We stayed in the “German Chocolate” cabin for 4 nights during the solar eclipse and throughly enjoyed our stay. Easy 2 mile drive to Fredericksburg. Lovely baked goods waiting for us on our arrival, plus Sophie’s Bakery is right down the road where additional goodies are available! Would definitely stay here again!”

“Very small but good for an overnight only. Parking is not really big enough for our Dodge 3500, had to back out of the drive. But cute little place.”

“This is our third time to stay at the Ainsley House and the location is fantastic. Over the years and multiple stays, the house has become slightly run down and needs some TLC. Overall the bed is clean and comfortable and everything downtown is easily walkable which is why we would stay here again.”
