“My wife and I have stayed here as a stopping point on our way to the blessing of the bikes in Baldwin, for the past 3 years. Can't wait to see the other units finished up!”

“Property owner answered all my questions in a timely manner. The property was exactly as described. Me and 6 of my buddies stayed there for a nice fishing and golfing trip and had plenty of space to hang out on a rainy day. Really enjoyed our stay!!”

“We were looking for a quaint place to get away for springbreak 2024 and found this gem. Nice and quiet, snowed, miles hiked on the north country trail, and views of the lake from the hot tub. The little gas station around the corner had amazing pizza too. The ownees checked in on us and were great communicators. The place is small but it was a perfect fit for 2 adukts, 2 kida and a chocolate lab to sneak away and have lake front views.”

“The property is wonderful lots of extras besides the cabin itself eg. Kayaks ,waterfront ,bikes ,cornhole,ect. The host is very easy to work with just leave things how you found them. I went with my wife and 3 week son and our doggo, And mind you it was cold snowing and raining and we still loved it. We will definitely be back. 5 stars 🌟 10/10 thank you guys from the pauwels family sorry we were a little late checking out 🙂”

“Very pleasant place to stay. Local restaurants were also exceptionally good. Very scenic town. Newaygo State Park and Manistee National Forest were a lot of fun to explore.”

“My husband and I stayed here for a short getaway. The place is very clean and well kept, cozy, and many amenities provided. The host is super kind. We spent most of our time fishing, we caught a ton of perch right off the pier, we also caught northerns, and bass. We used their kayaks, up and down the river, the river is beautiful and full of wildlife.”

“So closet to the NCT trail! Really comfortable sleep - and accessible room! - Former event space turned into a really cool space! Each room is so different - it was refreshing. We got in really late - so first impressions of the property during sunrise was incredible. The deck/lake view is amazing. Christine went above and beyond our expectations as a host showing great grace and care when we expereinced a hiking emergency. There are so many hidden 'secret' areas tucked away on the property……

“The cottage was stocked with the essentials: towels, pillows, blankets, etc., though the kitchen tools and appliances were in need of a deep cleaning. In fact, the whole cottage was in need of a deep cleaning. The beds were comfortable, and overall, we were happy with the accommodations. The outdoor common areas were the best parts of the whole stay. We had many nights by the fire, and spent the days in the lake, which was very easily accessible, but does get deep very quickly. The kayaks were……

“This was a nice little place for our group to stay. Property was perfect for the kids. The loved hanging down by the river and loved the Teepee.”

“Several good friends and I planned a bachelor party at Jenn's cottage in Croton as a weekend getaway to catch up and enjoy board games. I was expecting that the space would be cramped with eight adult men in it but was impressed by the quantity of space inside and outside the cottage. The dining room table was large enough for board games and snacks, and the living room proved a great spot to hang out. With the powerful A/C unit, the house stayed cool even in 80-degree weather. But the outside……

“I chose this place primarily due to the convenient location to various boat ramps on Hardy Pond. Upon arrival, it was better than advertised. The owners went out of their to make sure we had convenient/safe parking for our bass boats, along with cords/outlets to charge batteries. Would definitely stay here again.”

“There were detailed and plentiful descriptions and photos of every room in the cabin and the surrounding area. The cabin was clean and well-stocked, there were even bottles of water in the frig. The check-in and check-out processes were clearly explained. And the owner was easy to communicate, and very accommodating. It was a pleasant experience spending the weekend in this cabin!”

“We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and exactly as pictured. We were traveling with eight children and the bedrooms were spacious enough for all the pack n plays we had to set up. There a ton to do with our older kids who especially enjoyed the shuffleboard court and play structures. The hosts were responsive to questions and very kind. Would definitely stay here again!”
