"Lovely apartment hotel, set away from Main Street which is very busy and could be noisy. Staff were very helpful, medical centre and ski hire also very easy to access. Stayed in Sveta block and skied straight from boot room. 5min walk to restaurants & grocers. Bonus Spa for down days."

"Getting in was difficult for me as my phone ate my sim and refused to give it back, so I didn't have a working phone. The code I had initially been given didn't work and I had no means to contact the company until I got a new sim. (Fortunately I carry a spare phone when abroad) Once this was sorted I got in and all was fine, although the wifi was very poor. The wifi sorted itself out after a couple of days and then was fine. "I was really pleased with our choice of Le Chamois D’Or. It is ideally located near the bottom of the magic carpet and Pioneers chair lift and really is ski in/out. The room was spacious and extremely well equipped with everything you would need in the kitchen. We even had a balcony overlooking the piste. "Pros - large living room , large balcony, relatively comfortable beds , close to the high street via the stairs and easy to reach the ski school via skis . Great for self catering Cons - very small bedroom ( no enough space around the bed) , reception was closed had to go the hotel next door , a bit worn out , door stopper on the floor in the bathroom too close to the toilet - causing injuries . Not that great if you want a bar or a coffee in the lobby apres ski or in the evening . No...

"Great location and very well equipped apartment, always warm and lots of hot water. Good ski boot room and storage. Small but perfectly formed. However there was someone else’s facecloth in the bathroom when we arrived. Also, after stripping the beds at the end of the stay (as requested) the blue mattress cover under our sheets was quite stained & it wasn’t from us."
