I loved the fact that they had a hiking trail on property, it was a good distance trail that gave a decent workout. We didn't eat at the restaurant but the drinks were good. "Very nice staff. Small grounds with great views of Volcano. Boutique size place, maybe only 10 rooms and nice but small pool deck and 4 hot springs. Great breakfast, very convenient in and out location with a car. Not a fancy big resort place but was absolutely fine and budget friendly, would recommend no problem. Other "grand" volcano hot spring resorts were actually sold out so I picked this one and was very happy, and was lower cost overall with a great breakfast and very friendly staff....

"This place is pretty special. It is a small, low key resort. My son wanted to stay close to the pool, so we stayed in a standard room. The room wasn't great. The beds were hard, it could use a refresh, the air conditioner was loud, and there was no soundproofing. If we had picked one of the bungalows or treehouses, I likely would have given the place 5 stars. It is a nice alternative away from the hustle and bustle of La Fortuna but still close to lots of attractions. "
