“Great location for exploring the area with easy access to Fruita. Working farm as described with wonderful hosts. No children on our trip but could see kids enjoying the farm.”

We were sent the wrong access code for check in so had to deal with that via text which was a delay getting in to the house as there is no easy way to speak with a human based on the booking service. Just text, voicemail and wait. There was a half eaten chicken in the fridge and overflowing trash in the back area. All were presented to the managing company and they apologized. “I can’t say enough good things about Desert’s Edge. The property is lovely. The home is cozy, beautiful, and cool (it was HOT outside!). Karen is an outstanding host. The place had tons of local art that is available for purchase, which was awesome. Plus she provides tons of information about the community, trails, local stores (Lithic Bookstore was amazing!). I would stay here again in a heartbeat.”

“Nice new home minutes from GJ & Fruita. Really comfortable beds and furniture. The linens are nice and the kitchen has everything. Coffee and creamer were a nice touch! Very quiet inside the home and the view of CO National Monument is stunning. When outside you do here the road noise from the interstate.”
