Staying on the second floor I didn’t like that the lights for the front drive shown straight into room and no dark curtains to keep light out. Also the heater leaked water all over the carpet. It was very quiet and clean though.

I am pleased your roo was nicely cleaned and your stay peaceful, though I do apologize that the outside lighting was too bright and that there was not a dark curtain to block it. Our maintenance staff will repair the leak fro the heater and I do hope that you will choose us again during future travels so we can provide you with a superior stay.

This unfortunately was not our best stay at a hotel. We were the only guests at the hotel the pictures were deceiving, and the last day they completely turned the water off early in the morning without warning so we had to call down and find out what the problem was. They told us that they were working on stuff and we wouldn't have water until way into the afternoon but like I said they never bothered to tell us so none of us could get showers and we had to leave early just so that we could go and brush our teeth somewhere else. Obviously they were doing work at the hotel and we were not made aware we did not see any swimming pool or anything like the pictures showed. Quite disappointing to be truthful.

Please accept our sincere apologies for the disruption caused by the work that needed to be done which required the water to be temporarily shut down. If possible, we do try to provide advance notice, though this is not always feasible. I do hope that you will consider giving us another opportunity to provide you with a convenient, comfortable stay the next time your travels bring you through Gettysburg.

It was a clean nice place to stay for the night, the breakfast was good. The staff was helpful and friendly. The only thing they could do better is put non slip pads on the inside shower floor,they are super slick you really have to watch not to slip.

Several different parts of the hotel are blocked off with black tarps and marked "unsafe structure, entry prohibited" according to the Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code. We did not have hot water for 24 hours, desk attendant told us to turn on the sink and that would circulate the water...nope. cold showers the next morning. This morning we woke up to certain guests being served a hot continental breakfast and we were told that was only for a special group and we got a brown bag with applesauce and a granola bar. I asked for compensation for our troublese stay and was told no because we booked through Expedia, I left my cell phone number for the manager to contact me and did not receive a call. Please don't reply here saying "sorry you didn't enjoy your stay, we hope ...." If you are truly sorry please contact me directly and I can update this post reflecting that within 24 hrs. The pool was nice.

I apologize that our staff was not responsive and helpful. Please do try to give us another call about these issues. In the meantime, our maintenance staff is working to repair the issue with the hot water. Our standard breakfast is fairly simple, and our staff is always happy to provide recommendations for any guest wishing to have a more robust meal. I hope that you are satisfied with the resolution when you call and that you will come back and visit us for a superior stay next time.
