“My husband and I stayed here for several nights on our honeymoon before the earthquake (we had extended our stay on Gili Meno but had moved to another hotel because Adeng Adeng was full). Overall our bungalow was lovely! It was spacious and clean and had a beautiful outdoor bathroom with a good shower. The light was good day and night and the decoration was thoughtful. The AC worked beautifully. There are only 5 bungalows spread out in a fairly large garden and it felt incredibly private to us.……

“It's nice place! but Karma Reef should improve their service. At first, we stayed in bungalow, there is no AC remote controller, we called them 3 times to let them know it, Karma Reef stuff only said : we will send someone here. But still nobody to fix the problem. My hubby go to reception almost 30 minutes, they start to help us to change the room and tell us their GM will discuss it at 5pm. We spend a half of day to check in, change the room and go back to reception to wait GM, but GM is……

“Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Ottalia. The first thing we noticed when checking in was 4 routers, so will say the wifi was great. The staff was attentive, and always able to give extra water, towels, and even bugspray. The hotel is in the middle of the island, so there are definitely abundant mosquitoes, so beware and make sure to keep the mosquito net intact. The hot water also wasnt hot at night, so thats one thing the hotel could improve on. I appreciate the kindness of the staff, but……

“First of all, we had a "sea view" cottage. But with no view of the sea. When I told a staffer that the AC wasn't working, he said "that's the way it's always been" The bathroom and shower were disgusting, with rusting handles for the shower, and the shower and the toilet in the same space. Towels were old and worn. And there was something on the floor that made it slippery; no idea what. This would be luxury accommodations only in Venezuela or North Korea, and maybe not the latter.……
