“We wanted to stay in the snow and we got a storm on our third day there so all was white. Just what we wanted. The place is nice and we had a good time. Cooked orange rolls, raisin bread and watched a lot of movies. We did some hiking before the storm and some tubing after the storm. We also finished a large completed puzzle. Just a nice week of relaxing.”

“Our stay was very comfortable. We loved that it was spacious enough for all 10 in our party without being on top of one another. The game room and the hot tub were an added plus! Not a negative comment but this rental does have an abundance of stairs and not a good fit for anyone who may have ambulatory issues. Just a suggestion, I would install hand rails to the entrance of the rental since the front stairs are a little steep. Other than that we had a lovely time and would book again. Thanks!”

Only issue is we wanted to have 2 additional people stay which we had room for we had 2 empty bedrooms and they were not permitted to stay as they said the house only had a permit for 10 which was a bummer as they had to stay at a hotel.”

“We enjoyed access to the beach, and when we had questions we got answers almost immediately. The kitchen is upstairs which you can’t tell from the photos, and the bed in the upstairs bedroom (off the kitchen) was so hard & uncomfortable we ended up moving downstairs. The other 2 bedrooms are downstairs. We stocked k cups for the next guests but I’m thinking it was closed for the winter- there is a keurig and a coffee pot but also a nice Safeway less than a mile away for whatever you might want.”

“I stayed here with my family of 5 and this house was the perfect size for us (2 adults, 3 kids: 11-17 in age). The property is a nice 15 minute walk to the main strip of Kings Beach and about a 10 minute walk from Safeway. The house itself was clean and we enjoyed the log cabin feel of the interior. My kids really enjoyed the loft area with the foosball table. Upon arrival, it took us a few minutes to find the fourth bedroom, which is at the garage level. The emailed check-in and property……

“The cottage is cute, clean and comfy. We had everything we needed to cook and relax after a day of hiking in the Tahoe National Forest. The Kings Beach area is a great location for enjoying the scenery without the crowds and traffic of the south shore. Check in and communications were excellent. A very pleasant stay.”

“We had a lovely time. The house was as described. The beds were very comfortable and everything was in working order. We had three generations ranging in age from 87 down to 21. Everyone was comfortable and happy. The house was very well appointed with kitchen appliances including many small appliances we didn't expect. “Property is in solid location, very convenient, and has some nice amenities. Biggest gripe comes in parking; garage door was not operating and there are VERY few non-garages spots leaving me to park in a grocery store parking lot nearby many evenings. I was using the property a week and there was no change in this issue for the entirety of the stay.”
