“Beautiful old building. Great area. Rooms were quite nice and clean. Just no staff were ever present in our three night stay. An elderly couple who couldn’t speak English sat in the front lobby, often. I’m not sure if they worked there cleaning rooms or were a guest but if the worked there they made no attempt to communicate or help out, which was an issue because the front door to the building on a busy street was always left open”

“Reception was great. And very accommodating. Just needs a little sprucing up. New beds and pillows and carpet would be lovely. We needed a place to stay for 1 night and it fit that purpose. I left my electric toothbrush there and was able to retrieve it the next day. Very much appreciated. ”

“Mr. Tan the host was always helpful and he was willing to prepare the breakfast for me earlier than usual. The guest house, however, is a little bit far away from the centre with approximately 40min walk if you are not taking buses.”

“The location was fantastic with great views of the ocean and it was a quick walk into town. Pam was a great host and very helpful and her breakfast menu was varied and tasty with lots of options. The house aand room were very well maintained and you could sit in the front yard (which was also lovely) and have a cuppa and enjoy the views. The only slight negative was the size of the room..a little small for our luggage but we managed. Apart from that I would highly recommend it for a stay at……

“Very nice stay in Sue's B'n'B. We were allowed to place our luggage prior to check-in and get back later. Sue's hospitality is of very high standard. Everything is in order, clean and nicely maintained. Nice breakfast, we were treated like kings and queens. When Sue found out that we had to leave early for the airport after the last night, instead of the breakfast she prepared three bags of 'survival kit' with fruit and biscuits to bring with us. See picture. One small thing: the room was a bit……

“Booked again since we were overly impressed when we stayed here last year. Proprietors are ever so polite, friendly and accommodating. Full Scottish breakfast with cereals, yoghurts, toast, fruit, tea and coffee in abundance. Clean room with comfy bed has tea/coffee making facilities with biscuits and bottled water complimentary each day. Cannot recommend highly enough... we shall return.”

“I like the location. The bus is just next to the house. The responsable gave us some information about the famous attractions in Edinburgh. He has a dog called Tom. He's very friendly. It was the first time i wasn't scared of a dog. I noticed just that the room isn't warm enough. But in general i liked the experience”
