“Nice smaller cabins for comfortable getaway right on the water. Close to everything, but yet feel your out of town. Hosts were wonderful and provided great information before check in. This was our 2nd stay and first with this host. We’ll be back again and again!”

“A few friends and I stayed here for the Birkie weekend and had such a wonderful time! The cabin is modern, cozy and well stocked with anything we could have needed. The beds were also incredibly comfortable! We will certainly be staying here again next time we are in the Hayward area!”

“Little Sisu is awesome! A super comfortable abode in the midst of a nature setting and with easy access to groceries, restaurants and miles of trails for hiking or biking. We also took advantage of the pickle ball courts that are in walking distance (protect yourself from ticks though on the way there!). Plenty of wildlife too! Using the Merlin app we ID’d around 50 species of birds, many at the property, including loons and swans that were visiting the quiet, non-motorized lake. Frogs were……

“Our stay was amazing, the place was perfect and the property manager was absolutely amazing to work with. He was very helpful with any questions we had and the check in process was very easy due to his great communication! We were supposed to be snowmobiling but Mother Nature didn’t allow that so he was extremely helpful in helping us with other ideas and things to do in the area. We brought out ATV’s instead and it was a great time with lots of fun trails close by. Thank you, Sean!!”

“This cabin was so lovely and comfortable! Everything about it exceeded our expectations. Well, we had hoped to do more fishing, but the weather interfered with that! Hor hosts, thought about all the little details to make us feel right at home. We wanted a quiet weekend with our grown daughter, son in law, and our two dogs, and Birch Cove was the perfect spot. We truly hope to come back some day! We truly hope”

“Lake Grindstone is a beautiful lake. I kayaked and played off the dock with my Welsh Terrier. That said, the cabin doesn’t make a good first impression as the deck is dirty and in need of a blowing off. The deck would not be safe for small children as there are gaps in the spindles. Could crawl and fall 8-10 feet. Couldn’t close the screen on the deck door off the LR; but was able to get it on the track using a butter knife. Satellite TV didn’t work. Nice kitchen and living space. Host contact……

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Beautiful site right on the lake, and the property was exactly as described and pictured. My adult sons stayed there with their girlfriends as we are in the process of building a house in the area. Everything that you can think of was provided making for a comfortable and pleasant stay.”

“This place is a wonderful getaway to recharge. This is our 2nd visit and we are already looking when we can come back. The cozy, clean cabin is perfectly set on a beautiful private property with trails and nestled in the corner of peaceful Spider lake. The owners are so welcoming and have thought of many special touches ( super soft towels and bedding, toiletries and welcoming cold Wisconsin beer in the fridge). We enjoyed the pontoon, pedal boat, fire pit and of course a few friendly😉 rounds……
