The room was adequate and the view spectacular. It was a second floor view room. However finding the room after dark upon arrival and lugging my heavy suitcase to it proved problematic. We wish Guest Services had told us the exact entry. Our room was in the middle of the building and you had to use the central entrance which is not marked well from the outside. Parking is difficult as the spaces stay filled the entire time. Best to arrive before dark! But we had hiked part of the South Kaibab trail at sunset which was worth it!

There are no ammenties on the property. And, no parking. Not so different than any other National Park property.

It was old- but historical. Even though dated it was very clean and comfortable. You can’t beat the views. And the food at all the restaurants in the village were great!
