“The Appletree Inn newly aquired by Claire Collery, is a treasure! Claire, has taken every effort to make the Inn welcoming, elegant and comfortable for each guest who comes through their doors. The pool was clean and delightfully refreshing while looking out on the Berkshire Hills. The room in the lodge, was basic, but extremely clean and quiet. The main Inn had their "soft opening" of the bar last night, and it was just lovely, and a delicious breakfast with top notch Depot coffee awaited us……

“Sarah checked us in when my wife and I arrived. She was great! Helped us get settled in our room and gave us tips about the area, etc. The place is conveniently located to shops and restaurants. The room was clean, spacious and well appointed. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely being coming back!”

“The restaurant/bar on the premises was EXCELLENT, and allowed us to visit the country and have the freedom to have a drink and shoot some pool. A great place, with incredibly friendly owners.”

“wonderfully restored old mansion. Rooms were charming... nicely designed. In fact the entire facility has been thoughtfully brought into today's design standards. Very accomodating staff... although many appeared to be a training mode. Need to improve the professionalism a bit. They have a new general manager (had only been there about 2 weeks when we visited)... seems he has a number of things on his agenda that will improve the property even more. Food was good... but not wonderful. ……

“The pictures simply do not do this place justice, it’s an incredible home. Our friend group was cozy all weekend! We loved the hot tub/pool, the really interesting artwork, the driving range mat and basketball hoop. Plenty of towels and kitchen supplies. The in law apartment (which we didn’t use as sadly part of our group was unable to join us) is attached to the main home and is so cute. We had a small issue upon arrival and the hosts were immediately responsive with us troubleshooting and……

“This house was the perfect get away house for out family! The place was clean and the kitchen well stocked! We had wonderful large family dinners and enjoyed heading into town for meals and fun too. We had the best hikes with are wonderful dog that we got to include, it was a very special week. Great location and the most peaceful and amazing views from the deck and the dock. Would stay here again for sure! Thank you for sharing your home.”
