This would also be higher and perhaps allow use of the wall mirror whlist seated (the wall mirror is too high to be of any use whilst sitting at the table). En suite door hinges need oiling as they……

“Lovely accommodation in a picturesque village in the Scottish Borders. Quiet, comfortable, excellent food and personal service. Nothing was too much trouble. Mattress in the room was a little shaped and could do with replacing, otherwise the stay was excellent. Thoroughly recommended for the food and service alone!”

The grounds were beautiful, overlooking a flowing river and a gorgeous wooded area. The walk to the quaint town of Peebles was fabulous. Indeed, I can think of NOTHING of this one night experience for us that was amiss. We had the whole castle to ourselves. The accommodations were more than comfortable. In the room, we had a plethora of snacks and breakfast……

The biggest benefit is being so close to the river and the beautiful walks around the river. The town had lots of good restaurants and lovely shops.”
