It was a nice stay...
Posted Oct 27, 2019 on HotelsIt was a nice, stay. The location was convenient. But could be hard to find - it is on the 15th floor or the Radio Administration Building. The staff was very cordial and helpful. The shower head was clogged but when we told the staff, they replaced it. The bed was soft, which is rare in a Chinese hotel. We would stay there again. One note- bring CNY as their card reader did not accept our US-issued Visa or Discover cards.

Misleading location but lovely room

Shower cubicle with wooden panels is not my favourite design as I don't think it's very hygienic but apart from that it was really nice. The hotel itself did look like in the photos but I was still very surprised when I got to its location as the photos give you the impression that it is an old, classy building whereas in reality it is located on a high floor of an old office building. Also,it is hard to find it as there is no sign outside with the name Shangshe Boutique Hotel, in fact it's called Butterfly Hotel-very confusing.I would stay again though; nice breakfast places nearby and walking distance to a beautiful park.
