“I am beyond grateful for this stay! We stayed here as a family of 3 (two adults, 1 teen) for a long weekend getaway. I could not have picked a better option! The home is as described and very clean and comfortable. You enter up 3 flights of modern, comfortable stairs into a small vestibule shared with the hosts. From there, you enter through a locked door into a private hallway. Take the hallway to the right to find a large, comfortable bedroom and a clean and functional bathroom with laundry.……

“This apartment is in a perfect location and the pictures are exactly what you get. There are 2 very large bedrooms with 2 good sized baths. We were greeted with a great bottle of wine, which was so appreciated after our long travels (Thank you Daan!) We had an issue with no hot water and a broken hair dryer (which we were alerted to by Daan). The hot water was fixed relatively quickly (needed a new part), and the hair dryer was replaced that same day. Later in our stay, the heat stopped……

“My husband and I spent 8 days in Sebastian’s apartment. Everything was perfect. The flat is in a great location, very clean, with a comfortable bed and a wonderful coffee maker. We even had a welcoming bottle of wine and snacks awaiting us when we arrived. Sebastian provided a neighborhood guide to restaurants, grocery stores, laundry etc. He answered all our questions very promptly. All in all he was an excellent host and we would highly recommend this flat to anyone.”

“Unser Aufenthalt war sehr schön obwohl das Wetter leider nicht mitgespielt hat. Die Lage des Hausbootes ist perfekt und Edwin sehr nett. Leider hat unser "Geburtstagskind" ein paar Dinge zu beanstanden gehabt. Es gibt im 2. Schlafzimmer kein Fenster. Es fehlten u.a. ein Fernseher und eine Terrasse. Für 4 Personen ist es definitiv zu klein.”

“This flat has everything you need. We really loved our first time to Amsterdam. Like people said earlier the steps are a good workout! The flat is decorated very cute and the beds are very comfortable. So is the sofa!! It is easily accessible to the trams into the city and walking distance to cafés and grocery stores. It feels a little far from the city, but that also makes it really quiet and there is a lot of parking!! Valcim was really attentive to our needs too. Thank you so much!”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our 5-night stay. The apartment was conveniently located - close to the Tram line #4, stores (Albert Heijn) and eateries, and on a quiet residential street. It was an easy walk to all attractions, such as Anne Frank House and Albert Cuyp Market. The apartment was clean and had all the amenities for an ideal stay, including a washing machine. The bathroom was nicely renovated, with the toilet in a separate, SMALL 'water closet'. The hosts were quick to respond to our……

“Bon logement avec un rooftop sympa pour le soir. Bien placé, à 5min de la gare et ville très mignonne qu’on a apprécié visiter. Seuls petits bémols ce sont la cuvette des toilettes qui est dévissée et qui bouge beaucoup, et la douche dans laquelle l’eau a du mal à s’évacuer donc ça arrive que ça déborde sur le sol. Mais dans l’ensemble c’est fonctionnel et l’appartement est agréable ! L’hôte, que nous avons rencontré lors de notre arrivée, est amical et n’hésite pas à communiquer lors de……

“The studio is just pefect with everything that we needed for our stay and near transportation, shops, restaurants and the museums. Edwin and Karin were very nice and availabe, and were expecting us to welcome and explain everything in the studio and surrounding. It's like a 3rd floor with very inclined steps but if you want to stay in a typpical Amsterdam house this is mandatory, and we quickly get udes to it. On our check out day we could leave the luggage in the house, wich was very convenient……

“Nette Ferienwohnung direkt im Zentrum von Zandvoort. Vermietung nett und hilfsbereit, hat sich sofort um defekte Heizung gekümmert. Küche leider nicht besonders gut ausgestattet (1 kaputte Pfanne, nur ein alter, kaputter und für 4 Personen zu kleiner Topf).”

“Hans is a very nice host - he was very responsive and easy to communicate with. He personally greeted us and introduced us to the neighborhood and to the house. The house is located in Haarlem, but it is easy to get to Amsterdam. There is a shopping mall nearby with 3 supermarkets and some big stores.”
