“I was late arriving and almost missed dinner! But I had a wonderful evening meal and wonderful breakfast in a quiet comfortable lodging after a long walking day.”

Very well appointed with clean, comfortable bedrooms, very well equipped kitchen which is large enough for several people to work in at any one time - ideal for groups of people. Quiet area with access to lovely garden. Welcome pack was much appreciated and great starter for the week.”

“It was clean and accessible. No street noise or guest noise. Walkable to the train station. Comfortable bed. Very basic breakfast and basic tea & coffee. No local eateries except for poor takeaways. Staff not particularly friendly. ”
