The location was perfect within easy reach of Woodstock and the house was beautifully decorated, warm comfortable and spacious. “The 3 of us enjoyed a low-key visit of talking, laughing, resting, watching a few movies, playing a lot of table games and just enjoying some downtime together. Thank you for your hospitality.”

“On a very quiet small lake, but plenty of things to do. Kayaks, paddleboard, float pad, and hot tub were a big hit. Plenty of games and activities in the house too for rainy days. Greg was great at communicating everything about the house and quick to respond. Would definitely stay again!”

“The home is charming, immaculate and amidst woods with no neighbors in eye or earshot. It is on a dirt road, so an awd vehicle is a good idea. A stream runs along the driveway. The Ottauquechee River is across the road. The bathroom is on the first floor, and bedrooms on the second floor. The smoke detector goes off if you saute on the stove. I recommend learning how to turn off a wired in smoke detector. You should open the kitchen window when you saute, because most of the smoke detectors……

“Although the stream was devastated by the Vermont floods, it was still enjoyable to relax and watch pass by. Several opportunities to explore the area for fishing and hiking. Host was very accommodating and attentive. The wood burning stove made some of best vacation breakfasts ever. Great vacation!”

“This cottage was adorable! It was clean, although it did have cobwebs. Bathroom was immaculate. Shower is small so be prepared. Kitchen was adequate, it needs a better knife available and a cutting board. The location was good for what we wanted. The lake is not quite out the door as we anticipated due to the pictures presented in the listing. That was a bit disappointing but not a deal breaker. Everyone should go to Plymouth by way of Dick Brown Rd for an awesome experience.”

“This cute Newfound Lake vintage cottage is so cute. It has all you need to enjoy the area. If you are looking for a cozy lake rental in the woods and nature close to beaches and town this place is great! Great location for winter fall or summer! (Never been to the area in the spring)I stayed in the middle of winter and it was warm, beautiful and accessible. I bet in the summer it is so beautiful! If you are looking for a glamorous place , don’t take up someone else’s time that would truly……

“We truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lakeside home!. The views from the wrap around decks were breathtaking. Enjoyed preparing family meals in the high end kitchen. Very spacious home and very clean. We especially enjoyed sitting together in front of the fireplace on chilly mornings.”
