"We only stayed here for 2 nights arriving very late before moving on to our next destination via train, by design and for that it was fine. Cabs are really cheap so we were able to use them to get to the shopping area etc. Nearby tho there is very little but a short but steep walk will get you to some local stuff. "11th floor supposed to be a non smoking floor and our room 1116 was smell of smoke and we discovered that there were ashes that the chamber maid didn't clear away, it could have been done better. Breakfast offering was average. However they have a mall next door, offering better food and a park across the road, was lovely covered with snow now (20-26 Dec). We had fun at the park."

"1. This hotel is "far away" from downtown Harbin. 2. Don't trust the map. When it gets traffic jam, you will need 1 and half hours to get to the airport. 3. I share with others in that the biggest complaint is a lack of the staff's profesisonalism and tardiness. Checkin takes 15 minutes. Checkout takes 20 minutes. 4. Also, you have to have a local cell phone number in order to log in on the internet. This is crazy for international guests staying at the hotel. The breakfast fair to poor.
