We felt that the house had not been checked for cleanliness and that everything was in working order prior to our arrival. Had issue with the toilet not working upon our arrival. "The cottage at Indian Lake was just as described. It is minutes to the lake and walking distance to several restaurants. The cottage was clean and the area is very quiet. Great place for a couples getaway. The fenced in backyard was perfect for our dog. I highly recommend staying here."

"Our host was awesome! She was more than welcoming to us and our dog. I can’t believe she had food bowls, waste bags, and towels for our beagle. The bedding was outstanding. Wonderful body wash in the shower and hand soaps at the sinks. The kitchenette had everything we needed. Location was great as well. Easy walk to restaurants or an easy drive to things on the other side of the lake. Convenient to Ohio Caverns and other points of interest."

"Had a wonderful time at the Nook to watch the total solar eclipse! The place was exactly what was expected from the listing. And John was a great host - very nice, responsive, and even set out some extra eclipse glasses for us to use on our visit - so thoughtful! All in all, great stay!"
