"Wonderful weekend in Canandaigua! This B&B is charming, lovely memories x of history and comfort in a beautiful setting. The bed and bedding is lovely very as was the bath and accessories. The innkeeper and assistant are perfect examples of graciousness, solicitous without being intrusive. Last but in no way least, breakfast each morning was a lovely treat, highly recommend a stay here."

"Really nice BnB. The room was large and clean. We stayed in the Parker suite. Large jacuzzi tub in the center room. The breakfasts were excellent 4 course meals. I’d like the coffee to be stronger but that’s a personal preference. This is a nice location. Don’t worry about not staying in town or on the water front because either of these are easily accessible by car and the town and waterfront do not meet each other geographically, so you’ll need transportation either way. "

I think the host was annoyed that we were running late getting there but I was requested to let her know when we were 15 minutes out which I did - unfortunately we had to drive around for about an extra 5 - 10 minutes because we couldn't locate the place. They offer a choice between house made breakfasts and self prepared breakfasts from ingredients they provide. "Check in was very easy, I was given a code to a lockbox. I overpacked assuming it would be a little more rustic, turns out it has all the comfort and conveniences of home. Cottage, grounds, and hot tub were clean and inviting. We were there very early spring before the leaves grew on the trees and the view was incredible! There’s a nice hiking trail a mile down the road, and water access directly across the street. This place exceeded my expectations all around! Book it!"
