“We had a lovely time viewing the eclipse with the very friendly hosts. The room was perfect for this amazing occasion. It's a very large and roomy space for a couple with a nice view of the St. Lawrence. The location is perfect for exploring the area and easy access to Canada over the bridge in Ogdensburg.”

“The property was close to St. Lawrence, where my daughter goes to school. It offered a nice living area with a full kitchen and laundry. The outdoor space was amazing. An Igloo where we played games while being outside and out of the snowy cold. The hot tub was a great treat after being out in the cold or playing pickleball all day. I was able to hide easter eggs on their gorgeous property, for my daughter, that went from the hot tub down the long path to the river. We felt comfortable taking……

“This place is absolutely perfect for any visit to Clarkson! So clean and comfortable and only four minutes away from campus. Wish I would have found this on our first visit. It is close, yet so relaxing by the river with so many things to do to relax. Beth, the host, is very kind and helpful for absolutely anything you may need. Definitely recommend to any first year parents for a perfect place to stay throughout your childs college events throughout the years!”

“I reserved this property for our end-of-summer vacation from 8/13-8/18. Two days before our check-in, the property owner offered me a different property than what was listed. She said the house is bigger with two beds. She did not contact me through VRBO, but texted me directly. After driving 450 miles, we arrived at the property around 8 pm. The house was surrounded by all sorts of trash. The house she offered is a trailer like a dumpster, which is not in a livable condition. She did not let us……

“Beautiful cottage, clean, excellent view. We used the boat every day. It was gassed up and worked fine. There is a wood pile for camp fires. Muliple kyaks, canoes, and a stand up paddleboard. I saw loons on the lake (first time for me) and we heard owls at night. The fridge was clean and empty when we arrived...so you do need to bring any condiments, etc you might need. They do have salt & pepper. They have a kerig and a regular drip coffee pot. Highly recommend staying here...we hope to come……

“We took a long weekend to so my granddaughter could visit her other grandparents in the area. The home is very well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. We wanted for nothing! We wished it was summer to take advantage of the lake amenities. We will definitely visit again.”

“Beautiful property and place to stay. Everything is provided…all you need is your clothes! Kids loved the kayaks and we all enjoyed outdoor fire pit. The cottage is bigger than it looks from the outside and is appointed very well. We cooked all of our meals there and enjoyed eating on the back porch. The owner was excellent to work with and we have zero complaints. Definitely would recommend!”
