“We booked this for a long weekend with the family to watch the eclipse and celebrate my nephew's birthday. The property was just as described; secluded, spacious, and quite charming. We had 6 adults, a 7 year old, and an 80 lb Rottweiler, and there was plenty of room for everyone. Lots of space for outdoor activities and even though you're literally 10 mins from civilization and a store, you feel like you're out in the middle of nowhere. “The house has some nice features, but overall, there are several things that need attention in terms of repairs and upgrades. The downstairs is spacious, and updated somewhat recently, but the upstairs is rather dated and run down. The lighting in the main bathroom is horrible. There were numerous scratches and gashes in the walls, and not all the interior doors worked. We also had an issue with the kitchen sink which wasn’t addressed promptly. “This place was filthy! Dirty microwave, fridge, bathroom was disgusting with soap scum and cobwebs on the windows. There's no cable or dvds to watch anything in the THEATRE room they promote. They also had an attic portion rented out to other people that is not disclosed. The worst experience we have ever had.”

“Celebrated husbands bday with our adult kids. House was nice and clean. Kitchen cabinets were well stocked with the necessities. No condiments, bring your own, lots of spices though. Beds were comfy. Loved the sky lights. TV worked great, no regular cable to watch basketball, we used our computer. Guest contact was friendly.”

“Smooth process checking in, got to our room super easy, kiddos insisted we go straight to the pool! We woke up at 5am that morning and had just gotten done with state championship for cheerleading at 3pm. still had another kid that had competition sunday, so this hotel was our choice. pool was great and the location of the hotel is absolutely perfect for any needs!!! Only part we weren't thrilled about is the air doesn't work well at all. We kept it on 60°, closed the curtains and swam then went……

“I’m VERY PICKY and I had read the reviews and I must say these bad reviews were faulty especially about the cleanliness and smell. This hotel is recently updated it gives a boutique style hotel vibe. Our room wa beyond my expectations especially for the price. only thing I would recommend is standard or queen size pillows. I stayed for one night because my son had a tournament would definitely stay again. ”

“the room I had was quiet and comfortable after kindly being changed from having noisy people next door to my first room. Unfortunately, the window treatments seen from the outside and the unkempt grounds gives this hotel a look of caution but, it really is a decent stay.”
