“Stayed in deluxe room with a balcony overlooking the mountainside. Peaceful. Breakfast was simple but good. Fresh coffee all day. All staff was friendly and helpful. Centrally located to attractions ( 6 mi from Rushmore) and great restaurants. The room and lodge were very clean”

“The rooms were decent besides the shower head being set so low. Had to crouch down at 6' of height. The breakfast was less than expected too, only had cereal options and some bread/bagels it seemed, the juice machine was also out of order.”

“Sylvan Lake Lodge sits above the lake in a quiet area in Custer State Park. Our room had a good queen bed and small bathroom. There was a table and 2 chairs. The lodge had a great sitting area with alot of chairs/sofas. The dining room had excellent dinners (walleye/vegies for my husband and a steak for me). Breakfasts were also good w/ eggs, bacon/sausage and pancakes.”

“Our stay at Creekside was perfect! The cabin was spotless and organized in the most helpful way! The location was perfectly situated so we didn't have difficulty finding it at all! It was a peaceful area that was perfect for downtime after a busy day of sightseeing! Check in was perfect for us to do on our own. . .as we didn't get in until 11! I have been wanting to bring my kids to the Black Hills for years and this place made all of us eager to plan a trip back!! We will probably plan that……

“Owners are extremely nice. They helped us find the places to visit and go hiking. Rooms were very clean. The area is perfect. It’s in Hill City which is only an hour from the Badlands and 20-30 minutes from Custer Park. Highly recommend to stay at this Inn.”
