“For a budget hotel, it is worthwhile. Clean and warm room. Don’t expect too much, no electric kettle, teabags or coffee, table, chairs at room. Small room for putting one luggage suitcase. ”

“The hotel actually has two sections on two sides of the bridge. We were expecting to be on the water side but was disappointed. The room only has a small window facing the back of the hotel. Nothing impressive at all. The staffs were not helpful on anything. We were asked by the front desk to go across the bridge to make booking at the hotel restaurant. ”

“Clean and reasonably priced, and room had air conditioning. Friendly reception staff. But there were no power sockets by the bed for charging devices overnight, the bathroom door was very badly warped on the inside, and there was no room safe for storage of valuables. ”

“Throughly enjoyed our overnight stay, fascinating manor we love history and this doesn't disappoint. Room 51 nice and quiet plenty of hot water and excellent breakfast. Easy parking lots of available walks in beautiful scenery ”

“No swimming pool photo for booking view, and for kids pool closed”

“Very disappointing to arrive on site a 1845 and discover that there was no restaurant facilities and no bar available for a drink. The booking confirmation stated that both were open 11 till late, but it's actually 6pm when the restaurant closes. There is an expensive shop open to buy student type food, but we didnt fancy pot noodle when we were hoping to be dining in the restaurant. Very misleading information. ”

“Overall happy with the stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Meal portions generous. Room size large in comparison to most hotels. Downsides fairly remote location, no air con in room and room 132 has continual background noise from ? Spa vents which the room is above, but would visit again.”
