“The apartment was very cozy and clean. The location was perfect there was always somewhere to park and the complex was easy to find and easy to get into. Communication with the owner was convenient and responses were always fast. Also, the bed was sooo comfortable. I slept great. I would stay again if I’m ever in Illinois.”

The house was clean and had very comfortable beds. We enjoyed the four-season room and took advantage of the bonfire on the back patio. “A group of dance moms and teens stayed the weekend for a competition close by. It was perfect for us. Plenty of room and supplies needed for sleeping and making meals. It was super clean and felt safe. Rachel was so pleasant and accommodating as well as easy to reach when needed through texts. Definitely would stay here again.”

Needs just a few practical items for the rooms in the basement, which I suggested to the owner but otherwise it was perfect for our trip back to visit family. We would have loved to have been able to sit outside on the nice back deck, but we got some rain while we were there. Would definitely stay here again!”

House layout was great, open kitchen with an island to separate that from the living room/ family space so we could visit and eat. Rooms were good sized and adorably furnished. We had 4 adults and 1 baby. An aunt, uncle and cousin dropped by with dinner one night the space was perfect. House was very clean and well kept. Broom was handy to sweep up……

“It’s super close to downtown Yorkville!! So in the months with better weather it would be perfect to stay and walk to the few restaurants downtown and little shops and the river area. We arrived a little early and the host let us in and was able to change the codes around so we could check in as it was cold out! So super accommodating helpful!! Also the garage is a bonus but anything larger than a mid range suv is not going to fit as parking is tight! The only issue we had was the neighbors were……

Downtown Geneva and the train are a 5 min drive or 20 min walk - we did both. All in all a lovely visit and we’d stay again!”

“We had a great time in Geneva. Overall the place we stayed was very nicely decorated, comfortable and close to town and the river. The bikes are a nice touch. Two things to be aware of when renting: the owner communicates a lot. There are contracts to sign and lots of back and forth. Way more than any other VRBO I’ve ever stayed at. Tons of rules and reminders of rules. It was a little stressful. The other thing is this is a basement apartment. There is an apartment above and ANY walking around,……
