“Had a wonderful stay, the house was amazing and just the sort of place you would want to take your family on a trip. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beach house.”

“This was our first visit to Holden Beach. The house was exactly as pictured except the owner has added some very comfortable outdoor seating on the deck. We spent mornings and evenings sitting outside watching and listening to the ocean. The location was perfect for us - close to restaurants (I highly recommend Mermaids Island Grill) and Sunset Slush (Italian Ice) within a 3 minute drive along with a Public Beach access diagonally across from the driveway. There is also another Public Beach……

“My group and I, 8 friends who have been friends since high school, did our annual reunion at Holden Beach and stayed at this property. This property met every single one of our needs! There was plenty of parking space for our group who had multiple cars since we all were coming from different places. There was plenty of bedroom space and the listing was very accurate regarding the number of people the house sleeps. Our group loved the wrap around porches and the top deck at the top of the house……

“We very much enjoyed our stay at this house. It was clean and well appointed. We especially enjoyed sitting on the front porch/balcony where we could see the ocean (or, at night, hear it). We liked the location and that the neighborhood was so quiet (we were there in early March). We chose the house because it is dog-friendly. We lost our 13-year old pup just before our scheduled arrival and decided to go ahead and make the trip. It was a good decision. This house was a wonderful place to grieve……

“The property was quaint and the perfect size for myself, my husband, our daughter, and a small dog. There were a few things left behind from the previous renter, which is why I could not give 5 stars for cleanliness. The porch was my favorite part of the house. Morning coffee while staring at the ocean was great. The area in front of the house is a great spot for shelling. I found 4 sea biscuits on one of my morning walks. We had a wonderful time and would rent again if given the opportunity.”

“House was very nice. First stay at Holden Beach. Loved it. The decor of the house was not my style. Kinda dark and museum like and kitchen was not well stocked but would definitely consider staying there again.”

“House was very convenient and comfortable for our stay. Had some roaches and bugs we seen in the house. Did not bother a bunch of men but the wife would have had a cow! Appliances getting some wear and tear on them. Never could get the dishwasher to start and had to always put paper towels under coffee maker. All in all trip was a success and would like to return if things are addressed and updated.”

“Our overall impression of the property was wonderful. We would rent this house again. Several suggestions I would make is put out some roach motels or spray for roaches. We saw several dead ones and killed one big live one. It could have been a palmetto bug but it was big. The screen on the back porch was coming out when we got there. A guy came out and fixed it best he could. He said the whole screen on door needed replacing. It was furnished and decorated beautifully. Hoping we can rent it……
