"We had to move rooms twice because the rooms were dirty. The first room the carpets/floor hadn't been cleaned, there was crumbs of food all over the floor and on the chair within the room. We informed the front desk, who were actually very good, and were told it would be cleaned by the time we were back from a walk. It hadn't been cleaned some 5 hours later so they move us. "Prado Hotel Shanghai 3-10 Feb 2019 Reception was ok and quick. As it was Chinese New Year, things seemed rather quiet. The room was somewhat funky as is the general hotel design. The room met expectations and was relatively quiet, though the rubbish truck that came at about 6.00 am was a bit noisy. The bathroom is large with a full sized bath and a separate shower cubicle that was good. Lights over the vanity unit could be brighter as it was a bit dark to see one’s face makeup,...

"Room was spacious and classically furnished. Some of the furniture, drapery, and lobby finishes were a bit worn, but to be expected in an older, historic hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating and spoke English which made check-in and out easier. I would stay at this hotel again. "

"Good location at the end of the Bunds. River view is great if room is in the mid or right section of the building facing towards the city night lights. Staff understand some English. Walk to the Yuyang old street and Yu garden is about 20mins. "

"Though location is great right on the bend the front desk staff makes this a very uncomfortable hotel. The rooms are large for China but they are kept wat to warm and the WiFi strength is very poor. I can’t recommend this hotel"

"Horrible experience. Apparently we didn't get there in their timely manner because they gave our room away. This was after we paid $120 to get there from Pudong airport. Then had to pay an additional $100 to get to the Hongqiao airport after not having a room. DO NOT STAY HERE! Not only was that horrible enough it is a shady set up."
